Meet Bodie Girl! She's a delightful Boxer X Lab Mix, approximately 5 months old and weighing in at a healthy 26lbs. Bodie's journey began in a tough spot, found alone and starving in a drainage pipe. Despite her challenging start, she's blossomed into a dog full of love and excitement for life. Her foster parents discovered her and, thinking she was a boy, named her Bodie – a name she clearly embraces! She even had a moment in the spotlight, accompanying the rescue's founder on a TV segment to represent adoptable dogs, where she was a perfect lady!

Bodie would thrive in a home that can appreciate her boundless affection and playful spirit. She's dog-friendly and enjoys playing with her canine pals, making her a wonderful addition for a household with another energetic pup.

Bodie has been vaccinated with age-appropriate vaccines and is microchipped.

Bodie is kennel-trained and is continuing to make great progress with her potty training as she adjusts to life in a loving home. She's learning that the world is a safe and wonderful place.

Transportation
Bodie is currently located in Houston, Texas. Transport to your location is included in the adoption fee. Please note that pickup locations for transported dogs may vary and can include nearby towns or states. We coordinate with multiple transport services that operate weekly to Eastern states and bi-weekly or monthly to Western states. Adopters can track the transport van using the Life360 app and will receive updates along the way.
