Happy

Happy is a cream-colored German Shepherd mix who was rescued off the euthanasia list at Corpus Christi Animal Control. She had some skin issues when she arrived, but they have been resolved and she looks great now! She has had all her shots and has been spayed. Happy was also treated for heartworm and did very well. Despite her past, she is a very playful and energetic girl who loves her long walks and belly rubs. She is great with kids and other dogs, but her interactions with cats are unknown. Mealtime is her favorite time, and she absolutely loves her treats! She is also up-to-date on her Heart Guard Plus, which protects against fleas, ticks, and heartworms. Happy is ready to find her forever home where she can shower her new family with unconditional love. She is not yet house-trained, as she has been living in a converted horse barn, but she is very smart and will pick it up quickly.

Ideal Home

Happy would thrive in a home that can provide her with plenty of opportunities for long walks and playtime. She is great with kids and other dogs.

Ongoing Health

Happy has been treated for heartworm and is up-to-date on her vaccinations. She is currently on Heart Guard Plus for flea, tick, and heartworm prevention.

Training & Support

Happy is not yet house-trained but is a very smart dog and will learn quickly with consistent training. She loves treats, which will be a great motivator!
