About Button Mushroom Best Boy

Button is approximately 9 months old and is accepting applications for the role of "tiny shadow with floppy ears." He's a professional snuggler, gentle kiss distributor, squeaky toy enthusiast, and emotional support sidekick who appears convinced that every person on earth was specifically invented to love him. This sweet boy is the definition of soft-heartedness wrapped up in a hilariously adorable puppy package. He approaches new people and experiences with confidence and affection, happily seeking attention and sticking close to his person without being demanding. His floppy ears are a true highlight, bouncing with every step!

Button is more of a gentle observer with other dogs, showing respectful and often submissive social skills. He enjoys playing with friendly and easygoing dogs, but prefers a softer, bouncier play style over roughhousing. He would likely do best with canine friends who are kind and not overly pushy. He handled new environments, busy surroundings, and handling exercises with calm acceptance, easily redirecting and reassuring when unsure. He's a gentleman during handling and appears to have a well-balanced energy level, enjoying play and exploration before settling down calmly. He has never barked and seems content with affection and his beloved squeaky toys. Button interacted respectfully with cats and sweetly with children, approaching them gently for kisses and snuggles.

Ideal Home

A confident, reassuring family that will help him continue building his confidence as he grows. He could likely do well in a variety of homes, including apartments, as long as he receives continued socialization, structure, playtime, and love.

Ongoing Health

No specific health conditions were mentioned in the listing.

Training & Support

He has a soft and submissive nature. He is well-behaved and was noted to have excellent tolerance during handling. He is easily redirected and reassured when unsure.
