Timberrrr... get ready to fall in love. Not in a loud, chaotic way... this Timber is more like a quiet love and suddenly a life you can't imagine living without her. She's estimated to be around 4 years old and weighs 47 lbs. She looks like a perfectly petite pittie, but we know she is an absolute dream to live with. She's currently fostered in a loving home where she's already proven to be easy, relaxed, and just a joy to have around. The kind of dog who makes life easily better.
Timber has this soft, thoughtful way about her. She's incredibly loving with people, confident when meeting new friends, and just naturally gentle in everything she does. She takes treats so carefully it almost feels like she's being polite about it, and when she's excited, she does the cutest little tippy-taps with her front feet like she's celebrating the moment. It's easily one of those small things that ends up quickly becoming your favorite thing.
Her energy level is that sweet spot. She's happy to go for a walk, happy to hang out, happy to just exist alongside you. No chaos, no constant need for entertainment, just easy companionship. And to add to that ease, she is both house and crate trained!
Ideal Home
Timber prefers calm, easygoing dog friends and would do best in a lower-energy environment or even as your one and only. She will pass on life with pushy young dogs. She has also been around cats and showed a nice balance of curiosity and respect. With a dog-savvy or independent cat who can set boundaries, she has a strong chance of doing well in a home with feline friends.
Ongoing Health
Timber has no known ongoing health conditions.
Training & Support
Timber is house and crate trained and is easy and responsive on leash, taking direction well. She reads situations well and responds quickly to guidance.
