Hot Potato is pure puppy energy in motion! He is bold, goofy, and endlessly entertained by absolutely everything around him. At five months old, he has that classic "life is a game and I must participate in all of it" mindset. Toys, people, shadows, leaves – everything is exciting, and he meets it all with enthusiasm and zero hesitation. He is the puppy that keeps things lively, the one who turns an ordinary moment into something funny just by being himself.

He loves people deeply, but in a very animated way. Hot Potato greets the world like it's his long-lost best friend. He's wiggly, expressive, and full of joy, and he has no concept of personal space in the most endearing puppy way. After his bursts of play, he is just as quick to flop over and demand belly rubs like it's the most important thing on his schedule. There's a big heart behind all that energy. Hot Potato isn't just chaotic for the sake of it; he's social, affectionate, and eager to connect. With consistency and structure, he will grow into a fun, loyal, and incredibly engaging companion who keeps life active and full of laughter.

Ideal Home

Ongoing Health

All vetting including DAPP with booster, Bordetella, Rabies vaccine, multiple broad spectrum deworming treatments, spay/neuter, flea prevention, a 12 month heartworm preventative injectable, and a heartworm test and treatment if needed are included with adoption.

Training & Support

All animals are assessed by trainers on staff, and behavior is modified as needed. Individualized behavior plans are created to help prepare dogs for their future families, including crate training, potty training, and leash walking. Fosters attend group training and socialization playgroups.

• The adoption fee is $1000 and includes all vetting, a microchip with free lifetime registration, a high quality nylon Martingale collar, a health certificate deeming the pup healthy for travel, the cost of transport, and priceless years of love and loyal companionship.
• An additional $87 surcharge applies due to rising transportation costs.

Transportation

We facilitate adoptions nationwide using our rescue run USDA certified transport system, ensuring every pet travels safely and comfortably with 24/7 care. Our transport includes drop-off locations in WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI and Canada. For Canadian adopters, pick up is in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY, or Brattleboro, VT. You will have the opportunity to track their journey in real-time, see photo updates, learn fun facts, and connect with fellow adopters and fosters through our private Facebook event page. Texas adopters must pick up from the Houston area.
