Comet Good Shepherd

Comet is a 4-month-old German Shepherd pup with a sleek black coat, tan paws, and a charming white spot on his chest and chin. He's the more reserved of his litter, and while he might take a little longer to warm up to new people and places, his gentle and affectionate nature truly shines once he feels comfortable and trusts you. He enjoys being close to his person and snuggling up. Comet came to us from the Galveston shelter with his siblings and has been learning what it means to feel safe and loved in his foster home.

Ideal Home

Comet will thrive in a home that offers patience, consistency, and a gentle approach. He's still learning how to respond to corrections, but with the right guidance, he's making great progress.

Ongoing Health

Comet is up-to-date on all age-appropriate vetting, including vaccinations and deworming.

Training & Support

Comet is kennel trained and sleeps through the night. He's adjusting well to home life and has been doing well with other dogs. He's a fairly quiet pup, occasionally vocalizing with excitement over food or treats, which he's working on. He's a good balance of playful and calm once settled.

Transportation

Comet is located in Texas and can be transported nationwide via our rescue's USDA-certified transport system. There is an additional $87 surcharge for transportation. Texas adopters must pick up from the Houston area.
