Jimmy is a devoted, two-year-old Hound/Labrador Retriever mix with an unforgettable tricolor coat and a big heart. His journey from the streets of Iraq to a life filled with love and hope makes him a truly special companion. He’s a gentle, soulful pup who’s learning every day what it means to be part of a family and is absolutely acing it! With his favorite goofy teddy bear, he adores long walks, belly rubs, and soaking up all the affection you have to offer. Jimmy is your guy whether you're lounging on the couch or heading out for an adventure! He is loyal, cuddly, and ready to be your shadow from morning coffee to bedtime snuggles. This 60-pound sweetheart is house-trained, fully vaccinated, neutered, and microchipped.
Ideal Home
Jimmy would thrive in a calm, confident home where he can be the only pup, receiving all the love and attention. A fenced yard is ideal for him to stretch his legs and chase toys. He can be startled by sudden rear touches or loud yelling, so a patient and understanding environment is key.
Ongoing Health
Jimmy is fully vaccinated, neutered, and microchipped.
Training & Support
While Jimmy hasn't had formal obedience training, he is eager to please and learns new things daily with positive reinforcement. He has done well with some dogs at parks and in boarding, but he can be selective with canine companions. With the right guidance, he will continue to blossom.
