Ryder is your ultimate outdoor companion, ready for anything from hiking and camping to simply lounging on a pool float. He's a water lover through and through, embracing puddles and pools with equal enthusiasm. After a day of exploring, he transforms into a champion napper, sleeping in the most adorable and dramatic positions. Ryder also loves to socialize and is a happy, confident member of his foster home's dog pack. He's affectionate and loyal with his people, offering a steady, comforting presence.

Ideal Home

Ryder would thrive with an active family that enjoys the outdoors. He would love a backyard, but can adapt to apartment living as long as he gets plenty of opportunities for fun and adventure. He would enjoy having a confident, playful canine friend, especially a female dog, but would also be content as an only pet. He is not a good fit for homes with cats.

Ongoing Health

Ryder is a healthy boy. His adoption fee includes all vetting, including vaccinations, deworming, flea prevention, a heartworm test, and he will be microchipped.

Training & Support

Ryder is a smart and eager companion. He is used to living with other dogs and enjoys their company. His foster parents have worked on his basic training needs, and he is ready to continue learning with his new family.

Transportation

Ryder is located in Texas. We facilitate nationwide adoptions using our rescue run USDA certified transport system. This includes drop-off locations in WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI, and Canada. Transport includes real-time tracking, photo updates, and a dedicated Facebook event page. A $87 surcharge applies due to rising transportation costs. Texas adopters must pick up from the Houston area.
