About Dolly Lolly the Lovable Snuggle Queen
Dolly Lolly is all wiggle-butt and sweetheart! This is a dog that will always welcome you home with adoring fan fare. Picture this: you walk through the door, she is standing tall on the couch with her front paws perched on the back, tail wagging, butt wiggling, sparkle in her eye, and ready for kisses. Her foster mama walks into this scene each day and says it's one of her favorite parts of the day. Dolly bonds deeply with her people, and once you have her trust, you will have a faithful shadow who wants nothing more than to be near you.
Dolly Lolly is a petite pittie mix with the cutest bubble lip underbite. She is approximately 1 year old and currently weighs 50 lbs. She's a little thing and barely even takes up a couch cushion, which also makes her great to snuggle with. While Dolly waits for her adoption day, she is enjoying home-life and practicing all the best doggie manners and skills in a loving foster home. She is a cuddle bug who loves a good brushing session and will even fall asleep during a puppy massage. She also has a playful streak and is goofy and lighthearted. She loves to sneak a shoe, though she never chews them, and does the cutest scramble when her foster says, "Dolly, that is my shoe!" She enjoys her toys and knows when her monthly Bark Box arrives! Dolly is both home and crate trained and is affectionate with all people she meets. On leash, she needs a little confidence at first when in new environments, but with patience, she opens up and easily enjoys her walk.
Ideal Home
Dolly thrives in the spotlight and would love a home where she can be your one-and-only dog. She can be unsure with other dogs but will co-exist and grow into friendliness with a calm, confident canine companion who respects her boundaries and gives her time to settle in. She would love to be an only pet and promises to supply the love of o-so-many pets. Dolly will need a cat-free home as she has shown she would likely try to chase a cat.
Ongoing Health
Dolly is up to date on all vetting, which includes DAPP with booster, Bordetella, Rabies vaccine, multiple broad spectrum deworming treatments, spay/neuter, flea prevention, and a 12-month heartworm preventative injectable. She has also had a heartworm test.
Training & Support
Dolly is home and crate trained. She is working on building confidence in new environments when on leash. A patient adopter who can help her feel secure will be key to her continued growth.
