Auston

Auston is a fun-loving, active young pup with a big personality and an even bigger heart! Weighing in at 38 lbs, we believe this 10-12 month old is a Kelpie mix with some Husky in him. He is incredibly social and thrives when he has people and canine friends to spend time with. Whether he's exploring the neighborhood on his daily morning walks, riding shotgun in the car, or playing fetch, Auston is happiest when he's part of the action! He absolutely loves other dogs and would enjoy a home with a playful canine companion. He also enjoys trips to the dog park where he can run, play, and make new friends.

Ideal Home

Auston has done well with children, but because of his playful energy and tendency to jump, we recommend a home with older, dog-savvy children. He would love a home with a playful canine companion.

Ongoing Health

Auston is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed, on prevention, and heartworm negative.

Training & Support

Like many adolescent dogs, Auston is still learning his manners. He can be a little mouthy during play and gets so excited that he may jump up for attention, so he will benefit from continued positive reinforcement training. He is eager to learn and just needs a family willing to help him become the amazing adult dog he's meant to be.

Transporation

Auston is rescued from the Houston, Texas area and can be transported to approved adopters throughout the United States. He is ready to pack his bags and find the family he's been waiting for!
