Gus

Gus is a handsome, approximately 1-year-old Anatolian Shepherd/Shepherd mix who is as intelligent as he is loving. He has a gentle and kind nature, especially towards his 13-year-old black lab brother, and enjoys adventures while also being a content homebody. Gus is eager to please and will make a wonderful family protector and best friend.

Ideal Home

Gus would thrive with a family who understands the intelligence and sensitivity of Anatolian Shepherds and Shepherd mixes. He does best with a moderate to active lifestyle and enjoys enrichment toys to entertain himself. Gus has been tested and is great with kids aged 4 and up, showing a curious, submissive, and gentle demeanor around them.

Ongoing Health

Gus is a healthy boy! He enjoys cooperative care, taking grooming sessions wonderfully.

Training & Support

Gus is crate trained, potty trained, and walks well on leash, knowing all essential commands. He has solid recall and respects boundaries. As a puppy, he can occasionally show fear leash reactivity to other dogs, but he handles corrections well and settles quickly. He is learning to manage his larger body size, so continued gentle guidance around his size will be beneficial.
