Meet Aspen! If you've ever wished for a dog who wakes up every morning convinced it's the best day ever, you've found him. This big, handsome Lab/Pit mix (our best guess!) is around two years old and has the sweetest black-and-white coat, soulful brown eyes, and an adorable spotted nose that's impossible not to boop. Aspen is one of those dogs who loves with his whole heart. He doesn't just greet you—he launches into full-body wiggles, leans against you like you're his favorite person in the world, and happily covers you in kisses if you'll let him. Despite being a big guy, he's absolutely convinced he's lap dog-sized, and honestly... who's going to tell him otherwise? He's the definition of a happy-go-lucky, goofy sweetheart. Whether he's splashing through the water, bouncing around with his dog friends, or tagging along on a hike, Aspen approaches life with endless enthusiasm. If your dream dog is one who's always ready for the next adventure and then equally excited to snuggle up afterward, Aspen checks every box. Aspen rides wonderfully in the car, enjoys being out exploring, and loves the water, making him the perfect companion for hiking trails, lake days, camping trips, or weekend adventures. He's happiest when he's included in whatever you're doing, and after he's had a chance to burn off some energy, he's more than ready to curl up beside you for some well-earned cuddles. If you're looking for a loyal best friend who's equal parts adventure partner, oversized cuddle bug, and lovable goofball, Aspen is ready to steal your heart—and probably your spot on the couch, too.
Ideal Home
Aspen would do best with dogs over about 25-30 pounds who enjoy rough and tumble play, and a confident canine buddy who can communicate clear boundaries. He could also thrive as your one-and-only if he gets plenty of exercise, enrichment, and quality time with his people. We're looking for a home without cats and recommend older kids or teenagers who won't be knocked over by his happy greetings while he continues polishing his manners.
Ongoing Health
Aspen is a healthy boy who has received all age-appropriate vetting.
