Gracie

Gracie is a 7-year-old Collie who truly embodies kindness. She came to us with two other Collies, Solomon and Sama, after a period of severe neglect. Sadly, despite the best efforts of her foster family, her two newborn puppies did not survive, but Gracie pulled through and is now ready to find the loving forever home she has always deserved.

Gracie spent years living outdoors in very difficult conditions, experiencing little kindness. Now, she is discovering the simple joys of a warm bed, regular meals, gentle touch, and loving attention. She absolutely thrives on human connection. Her foster describes her as "kind" and notes that Gracie gets along well with other dogs, though she may gently correct them if she sees bad behavior, a trait she seems to have inherited from her mama. She is crate trained, leash trained, and eager to please. Because she had limited exposure to the outside world, she is still learning to navigate new sounds, places, and experiences.

Ideal Home

Gracie would thrive in a home that will continue to offer her patience, love, and guidance as she discovers how wonderful life can be. She is not a dog who needs constant play; instead, she is looking for a companion to share quiet moments with, whether as a friend to another dog or as someone's cherished princess.

Gracie has no known health conditions.

Training & Support

Gracie is crate trained and leash trained. She is still learning about the world outside her previous environment and may need continued support with new experiences.
