Josie is a sweet and loving companion perfect for the whole family! This 41 lb Staffordshire Terrier mix, with an estimated birthday of October 26, 2023, is the ultimate cuddle buddy. She enjoys playing with her toys, snuggling with her foster siblings, sunbathing, and loves a chicken nugget as a treat. Josie has adapted wonderfully in her foster home, living harmoniously with children and her foster siblings. She is already potty trained, walks well on a leash, and knows commands like "sit" and "stay." Her treat motivation makes her eager to learn and bond with her forever pack. Josie adores playing with other dogs, especially playful ones, and her favorite activity is snuggling up on the couch for a snooze. She's also a fantastic car rider, always ready for an adventure! Josie was rescued from a county shelter where she was facing euthanasia due to overcrowding. She came to us as a neglect case, underweight and having clearly had a difficult start, but she has made incredible progress and is ready to blossom in her forever home.

Transport is included in the adoption fee and is coordinated through third-party services. Pickup locations may vary and can be across city, county, and/or state lines. Transport services operate weekly to Eastern states and bi-weekly or monthly to Western states. You will be able to track the transport van using the Life360 app and receive updates.
