Bodhi is a sweet, resilient boy who came to us under unfortunate circumstances. He was found abandoned at our rescue, initially scared and uncertain. Thankfully, with love, care, and good food, Bodhi is now healthy and eager to find his forever home. He's a playful and goofy companion, prone to enthusiastic zoomies that are sure to bring a smile to your face. Bodhi also enjoys the company of other dogs and can be quite vocal with happy barks during playtime. While he's made tremendous progress with resource guarding, especially around food, he may occasionally need gentle redirection with toys. He's a quick learner and with continued positive reinforcement, he'll continue to build confidence. Bodhi can be a bit shy in new environments, but once he feels secure, his affectionate and playful personality truly shines.
Ideal Home
Bodhi would thrive in a home with an adopter experienced with his breed or a similar working breed. An adopter who understands the importance of continued training, structure, and positive reinforcement will help Bodhi build his confidence.

Bodhi is crate trained. He has made excellent progress with resource guarding around food and toys but will benefit from continued consistency, positive reinforcement, and training to help him build confidence.
