Meet Christine Smith-Meyerpeter, Copper Sage Acres Bassets. Christine Smith-Meyerpeter is from Nevada and breeds Basset Hounds. AKC proudly supports dedicated and responsible breeders. We encourage all prospective puppy owners to do their research and be prepared with questions to ask the breeder. Make sure you are not only choosing the right breed for you, but also that you’re getting it from the right individual. Our dogs participate in AKC Confirmation. We are active members of our local AKC club - The Truckee Meadows Dog Training Club and the Basset Hound Club of Sacramento. We also participate in specialty shows such as the Nor Cal Basset Hound Club Specialty, The Basset Hound Club of Sacramento Specialty, and the Hound Association of Northern California Confirmation show.
