Tom is a handsome 1-year-old, 55lb Shepherd/Hound mix with a striking black and tan coat and a white chest. He was found as a stray and is now looking for his forever home. Tom is a sweet boy who thrives on attention and enjoys being outside. While he can be a bit vocal in his kennel, he's a quiet and well-behaved companion once he's out and about. He's become a favorite among volunteers for his good manners on walks after his initial kennel excitement wears off.

Ideal Home

Tom would love a home with a yard where he can explore and play. He needs a patient family who understands he's still learning and can provide him with the love and stability he deserves.

Ongoing Health

Tom is neutered and up-to-date on his vaccinations.

Training & Support

Tom is house-trained in progress and is crate-trained. He sometimes barks in his kennel but is quiet once outside. He walks well on a leash and is not reactive to people or dogs. He is not food aggressive and does not exhibit destructive behaviors.

Transporation

Tom is currently located in Kentucky and will travel to the Niagara Region once an appropriate adopter or foster is found.
