Polly Pocket

Polly Pocket may have a tiny name, but she’s got a heart full of love and a big personality to match! This sweet and gentle girl is an adult female Pit Bull who entered our care on May 13, 2025. She absolutely adores people and is especially tender with children, earning her the title of a true family dog. Polly shines on walks, happily trotting by your side and soaking up all the sights, smells, and attention along the way. While she can be selective with other dogs, she’s happiest as your one-and-only or in the company of calm, respectful canine companions. Cats, however, are a no-go for Polly. If you're looking for a loyal, loving best friend who’s equal parts cuddlebug and walking buddy, Polly Pocket is ready to fill that role—and your heart.

Ideal Home

Polly would do best as your one-and-only pet, or with calm, respectful canine companions. She is not a good fit for homes with cats.

Ongoing Health

Polly has been spayed and vaccinated, and is up-to-date on flea and dewormer treatment. A heartworm test has also been completed.

Training & Support

Polly is a people-pleaser and enjoys her walks. We are still getting to know her quirks and will provide any available information upon inquiry.

• The adoption fee is $250.00 and covers spay/neuter surgery, age-appropriate vaccinations, flea and dewormer treatment, and a heartworm test.

Polly is currently located at the Mason City Stray Animal Shelter in Mason City, IA. Transport may be available to other Wags partner locations.
