Meet Moose! Moose is a handsome 1-year-old Doberman and Pittie mix who weighs in at a solid 85+ pounds. He's a gentle giant with a sensitive soul who was rescued from a high-kill shelter just in time. Moose loves to shower his people with affection, especially when chin scratches and head pats are involved. He's a big boy who doesn't always realize his own size and will likely try to snuggle up on your lap! Moose is neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped, and he's already proving to be a wonderful companion.

Ideal Home

Moose would thrive in a home with patient humans who understand that building trust takes time. He's great with other dogs and would love to have a canine sibling. Children above 8 years old are recommended due to his size. Moose also needs a home that can help him build his confidence by exposing him to new experiences like dog-friendly restaurants and busy outdoor spaces.

Training & Support

Moose is still building his confidence, especially around new people, and men in particular will need to earn his trust by going slowly. He walks beautifully on a leash, doesn't pull, and is learning to stay focused despite distractions. He's also crate-trained and generally does well when left alone, though he can be a bit overexcited when his people return!
