Rufus

Rufus is a 2-year-old, 15 lb Yorkie/Lhasa Apso mix with a scruffy, handsome face and big, soulful eyes that will melt your heart. He's a true "Velcro dog" who adores being by his human's side, whether that's cuddling on the couch, following you from room to room, or resting in your lap. Despite a difficult past where he was abandoned, Rufus remains incredibly sweet, trusting, and eager to shower his new family with love. He has a gentle, happy, and easygoing nature that makes him a joy to be around. Rufus enjoys walks, rides in the car, and is crate trained. He has a moderate energy level, enjoying adventures but also happy to settle down for a nap. He is expected to reach a healthy weight of 18-20 lbs. As a Yorkie/Lhasa Apso mix, he will require regular grooming.

Ideal Home

Rufus is looking for a loving companion who wants a loyal sidekick, couch buddy, and walking partner. He deserves a family who will cherish him and never leave him behind.

Ongoing Health

Rufus is currently underweight and is expected to reach 18-20 lbs once he is back to a healthy weight. He has been neutered.

Training & Support

Rufus is crate trained and house training is a work in progress, though improvements are expected with a consistent routine. He may occasionally engage in gentle play nibbling.
