Hope

Hope is a resilient girl who has overcome a lot and is now ready to find her furever home! This approximately 2-year-old, 40-pound mixed breed (American Pit Bull Terrier and German Shepherd mix) has a heart full of love to give. Hope has proven to be fantastic with other dogs and is fine around cats. She has also lived with children and enjoys their company. She walks well on a leash, loves car rides, and is house-trained, trusting enough to be left out of her crate day or night. She also utilizes her crate comfortably when offered.

Ideal Home

Hope would do best in a home with a fenced-in yard and a canine playmate to share her life with. She is not a natural social butterfly and would not thrive in a home where she is expected to attend dog parks or frequent busy public outings. However, she enjoys car rides and would love trips for pup cups or other quiet adventures! With time, confidence, and a loving environment, her social skills are likely to blossom, opening up possibilities for quieter outings in the future.

Ongoing Health

Hope has been treated for heartworm and has undergone a front leg amputation. She is spayed, microchipped, and up-to-date on vaccinations.

Training & Support

Hope is house-trained and trustworthy when left alone. She also crates well. She will benefit from a home that can continue to build her confidence and provide opportunities for her to socialize at her own pace.
