Meet Blue!
This loving, two-year-old American Pitbull Terrier is a true gem with a gentle spirit and a striking blue coat. Blue is a large boy at 75 pounds, and he's a delightful mix of playful curiosity and tender devotion. He absolutely adores romping in a fenced yard with his favorite toy, a big ball on a rope, and he lights up during car rides, eager to see the world go by! Blue is at his happiest when he's by your side, leaning in for snuggles and soaking up all the attention you can give him. He's already mastered the 'sit' command and is incredibly eager to continue learning through positive reinforcement, especially with a patient caregiver who can offer him structure and encouragement.
Ideal Home
Blue would thrive in a calm, stable environment where he can feel secure. Because he can be uneasy with sharp noises and thunderstorms, a peaceful home is essential. He also needs plenty of one-on-one time, as he may chew paper or cardboard if left alone for longer stretches. His past experiences with other dogs have been mixed, so he may be most comfortable as the only pet initially, or with slow, supportive introductions that build trust over time. His compatibility with cats and children is still unknown.
