Richard

Richard is a sweet shepherd/malinois mix, estimated to be between 3-5 years old and weighing around 70 lbs. He was found abandoned and malnourished, but his spirit remains incredibly strong. He still loves people and is great with all dogs, both large and small. Richard is calm, quiet, gentle, and blossoms into an incredibly affectionate companion once he trusts you. He does well with children and is already crate and potty trained. He's very food-motivated, making him a trainable and eager learner. Richard isn't demanding or hyper; he's the perfect companion for someone who wants a loyal friend to quietly share their life with. He truly deserves a safe and loving home.

Ideal Home

Richard enjoys spending time outdoors, so a fenced yard is a must for him to explore and relax in.

Ongoing Health

Richard arrived in our care malnourished. He has since been treated and is doing well.

Training & Support

Richard is crate trained and potty trained. He is very food-driven, which will be a great asset in his continued training.

Transporation

Richard is currently in a foster home in Wrightsville Beach, NC. Transport can be arranged to approved adopters.
