Buddy

Hi there! I'm Buddy, a charming 4-year-old gentleman all the way from Mississippi. My striking white and black coat, complete with a unique black ring around one eye, makes me unforgettable! At 84 pounds, I'm a sturdy fellow, though I do have a slight limp from an old injury on my right paw. I'm fully healed, but I do need a little care when we're out on rocky terrain.

I absolutely adore having other dogs around, so a home with a canine companion would be wonderful! I'm friendly, ready for my next adventure, and I promise to be a solid investment in years of love and companionship. I live for belly and booty rubs, head massages, daily walks, car rides, sunbathing, comfy couches, yummy treats, and being right by your side.

Ideal Home

I'd thrive in a home that can offer me a four-legged friend to play with and explore alongside. While I'm a healed boy, I do need a little extra care on rocky surfaces, so smooth walking paths would be a bonus!

Ongoing Health

I tested positive for heartworm disease before coming to the rescue. I've been treated and will have a two-week recovery period before I'm ready for my forever home. Potential adopters will receive detailed information about heartworm disease and their role in my complete recovery. With monthly preventatives, this disease is completely preventable.

Training & Support

I'm proud to say I'm already housetrained and walk well on a leash! I'm also friendly with humans and dogs alike, and I'm a very affectionate boy.
