Millie

Millie is a beautiful, 3½-year-old, 65-lb, spayed female German Shepherd who is sweet, protective, and silly. She is healthy, microchipped, and up-to-date on core vaccinations. Millie was purchased from a breeder as a puppy and has been a valued member of her family. However, recent incidents with children have made it stressful for her current family to manage her, and they are now seeking a new home where she can thrive. Millie loves to play with balls and is a calm passenger in the car.

Ideal Home

Millie would do well in a home with a property where she can run and play. She needs a home without children, as she has had incidents where she lunged at the children she lives with. Millie would also do best in a home without cats, as she has never been around them and likely would not do well.

Millie is healthy, microchipped, and up-to-date on her core vaccinations.

Training & Support

Millie received formal obedience training as a puppy and walks great on a leash, showing no reactivity towards other dogs on walks. Her off-leash recall could use some improvement. While she is housetrained and can be left to roam freely when her people are gone, she is very protective of her people inside the house and needs to be crated when unfamiliar visitors arrive.
