Mama Gracie is a sweet, grateful, and incredibly loving one-year-old dog who truly cherishes every bit of affection and comfort she receives. Rescued from a difficult outdoor life where she faced severe malnourishment, Gracie has blossomed into a confident companion eager to share her endless supply of love. She delights in playtime with a variety of toys and has a charming habit of saving treats for later, a sweet reminder of her past. Gracie is building her confidence daily and would do well with another canine friend to help her along, but her heart truly belongs to her people, following them wherever they go. She is fully house-trained, walks beautifully on a leash, and is crate-trained, though she doesn't require one. Gracie has proven trustworthy when left alone for extended periods, preferring to nap peacefully. She already knows "sit," "down," and "paw," and is progressing well with "stay." Gracie is learning to temper her enthusiastic greetings and is working on her resource guarding with food and treats, but with patience and redirection, she is making wonderful progress.

Gracie has been spayed, is up to date on vaccinations, and is microchipped. She is being treated for a heartworm, which is ongoing.
Training & Support
Gracie is learning not to greet people with "hugs" and is working on her resource guarding with food and treats. She responds wonderfully to patient guidance and redirection.
