Nelson - The Mannerly Pooch

Meet Nelson! This handsome Lab mix is about 1-2 years old and is the sweetest, most polite boy you could ever hope to meet. He's fully potty trained (currently crate training), walks beautifully on a leash, and is wonderfully well-mannered, never jumping on you when you come home. Nelson is non-reactive, easygoing, and happiest when he's by your side. He loves other dogs and is great in the car, making him a perfect companion for weekend adventures or simply relaxing at home. He prefers sleeping in bed with his foster and sleeps through the night without any problems.

Nelson's journey has been incredible. He was once abandoned and left to survive on the streets of Puerto Rico. Despite his past, he has never stopped believing in people. He chose love over fear and embraced every chance at a better life. Now, he's discovering what it means to be safe, cared for, and cherished, and he's ready for the one thing he's still waiting for: a family to call his own.

Ideal Home

Nelson deserves a home where he'll never again wonder if he's loved. He's looking for someone who will see the incredible, loyal, gentle soul that he is and promise to love him forever.

Nelson has been neutered and vaccinated.

Training & Support

Nelson is fully potty trained and is currently working on his crate training. He walks beautifully on a leash and is already well-mannered in the home.
