Meet Nala, your Sweet, Silly Little Shadow! Nala is a playful, affectionate, and goofy Chihuahua mix who is ready to find her forever home. She spent weeks wandering the streets before being rescued and is now thriving in foster care. Nala loves her toys and will even play fetch by herself! She is great with other dogs and people and is 95% potty trained and fully crate trained. She knows "sit" and "crate" and is working on "stay/wait." Nala walks on a leash but is still learning to stay focused due to all the exciting things around her. While she can be a little shy at first, she warms up in about 30 minutes and becomes a loyal companion. Nala would thrive in a home that enjoys a fun, affectionate companion and will help her continue building her confidence. Another dog would be a bonus but isn't required. Nala is the perfect mix of sweet, spunky, and snuggly, and she's ready to bring so much joy, laughter, and love into her new home.

Transportation
Nala is located in Houston, TX. Transport is included in the adoption fee and may vary in pickup locations, including nearby towns or states. We coordinate with multiple transport services that operate weekly to Eastern states and bi-weekly or monthly to Western states from Texas to your state or a neighboring state. These are ground transports using third-party vehicles (vans/buses) converted for dog transport. Each adopter has the ability to track the van using the app Life360, and receives updates from transport along the way. Facebook chats are another resource to stay informed on tracking dogs on transport. Please be able to use one of these available services if you wish to follow your adopted dog on transport.
