BRIGHTON

Brighton is a charming approximately 2-year-old, 11 lb Maltese mix with a heart full of love. He arrived at a local shelter after sustaining gunshot wounds to his front leg, which sadly could not be repaired and required amputation. Despite this, Brighton has adapted remarkably well to life as a tripod and gets around with ease, readily hopping onto furniture and into cars. He is his foster's best friend, following her everywhere, and enjoys cuddles on her lap and sleeping at the foot of her bed. While he coexists peacefully with other dogs, he's not one for boisterous play, and he seems to ignore the foster's cats. Brighton is house-trained and walks well on a leash. This sweet boy is looking for a home where he can receive plenty of TLC.

Ideal Home

Brighton needs a home where he can receive lots of TLC. We do not adopt to anyone with children under the age of 8 years, and he must go to an experienced dog owner.

Ongoing Health

Brighton's leg was amputated due to an injury. All of our dogs are spayed/neutered, up to date on all shots and boosters, microchipped, and on monthly heartworm and flea/tick preventatives.

Training & Support

Brighton is house-trained and does well on a leash.
