Cynthia

Cynthia is a sweet, smart, and ready-to-learn 1-year-old Poodle Mix who is looking for her forever home! She came to us as a stray, and in the overwhelming shelter environment, she was fearful and shut down. With patience and love, her resilient and adventurous spirit is starting to shine! Cynthia has a great balance of energy and snuggles. She enjoys walks, stick collecting, squeaky toys, and the occasional sock. She is whip-smart and a joy to train, already knowing "sit" and quickly picking up new commands. Cynthia is also becoming a pro at leash walking and isn't reactive towards people or dogs. Bully sticks are her favorite toy, and she settles into her crate at night with no fuss. She's doing great with potty training, with only a couple of accidents daily as she adjusts. Cynthia gets along with other dogs and would do well in a home with another confident, playful dog who can be a positive example. She just needs a patient, loving home to help her continue to thrive. Because she can still be easily startled, we recommend Cynthia go to a home with older children.

Ongoing Health

Vaccinated for rabies, DHPP, bordetella, and microchipped. Scheduled for spay/neuter. Current on flea, tick, and heartworm prevention.

Training & Support

Still working on potty training, with only a couple of accidents daily. Eager to learn new commands with treats.
