RENA - FOSTERED

Hi there! My name is Rena, and I'm a sweet and sociable Mountain Cur mix, about 11 months old and weighing 48lbs. I was found on the streets of Guadalajara, Mexico, where I was trying to find food in the trash. Thankfully, I was rescued with my mama and sister and brought to a foster home. Sadly, that adoption didn't work out, and now I'm living in a kennel, waiting for my forever family to find me! I'm a confident pup who adapts quickly when treated with love and kindness.

Ideal Home

I would love a home where I can continue to grow and play! I'm not sure how I'll do with cats or small critters like squirrels, so my new family will need to be prepared to help me learn and manage any prey drive that may arise.

Ongoing Health

I'm spayed and vaccinated. Please note that it's common for rescue dogs to need dental work after adoption, and this would be the adopter's financial responsibility.

Training & Support

I'm doing okay with leash, house, crate, and car training, but I would benefit from some extra patience and continued training in these areas. As West Coast Paws encourages, doing some research and training on your own before I arrive will help me settle in smoothly.

Transporation

I am currently in Guadalajara, Mexico. If a flight volunteer is found, I can be transported to Vancouver for an adoption fee of $840.00 CAD (including tax).
