Potter

Potter is an absolute doll! This 4-5 year old, easy-going guy has been through so much. He was found wandering the streets as a stray on a hot summer day, seeming confused and disoriented. After a perfect health check at the vet, he patiently waited at the rural shelter for his people to find him, but they never came. Potter must have had a loving home because he behaves perfectly in his foster home. He is fully potty trained and while he prefers not to be crated, he settles quietly when asked. He is extremely food-motivated and a bit underweight (he's about 55lbs and should be closer to 60), so he needs some guidance to ensure he doesn't get into anything he shouldn't. Potter also walks nicely on the leash. He does have a habit of orbiting his person, but with a little positive reinforcement and treats, he quickly learns to walk appropriately.

Ideal Home

Potter would love a home where he can be with his humans for most of the day. He would love a family who will snuggle with him and give him lots of love.

Ongoing Health

Potter is a bit underweight and could benefit from a bit of extra support to reach a healthy weight.

Training & Support

Potter is food-motivated and picks up on new things quickly with positive reinforcement. He is learning to walk nicely on the leash and will benefit from continued guidance.
