Meet Moose! This 85lb, 2 1/2 year old neutered male bully breed has a heart as big as his body. It’s hard to imagine someone would give up such a gentle soul, but Moose and his two dog best friends found themselves needing a new beginning. He’s like a small dog in a big dog’s body, craving endless whispers of affection and snuggles. Moose has perfected the art of leaning in for attention, and he’ll return every ounce of love you give him tenfold.
Ideal Home
Moose is looking for an experienced family who understands the needs of bully breeds. He’d be happiest with multiple daily walks and plenty of playtime. He would love to live with other dogs who match his energy and play style, especially female dogs or smaller pups. Moose is a rockstar in playgroups and a perfect gentleman at events, loving all people and being gentle and affectionate even with small children. He would prefer a home without cats, as his affection for them can be a bit overwhelming!
Ongoing Health
No specific health conditions are mentioned, and his adoption fee covers spay/neuter, age-appropriate vaccinations, fecal testing, deworming, flea and tick preventative, and microchipping.
Training & Support
Moose is a very smart and eager-to-please boy who learns quickly! He already knows "sit" and "ok" before eating. He walks beautifully on a leash without pulling and is a perfect gentleman when meeting new people. He is highly food motivated, making him easy to train. He enjoys long walks and car rides, and he’s fantastic at taking treats gently and even getting grumpy dogs to warm up to him.
