Layla is a stunning 5-year-old pup with a gorgeous, light brown coat, big, upright ears that practically demand ear scratches, and a heart full of love, just waiting for the right family. We think she might be a Shepherd-Pitty mix, but with rescue, it's always a guess, but one thing is certain: she's one of the sweetest girls you will ever meet. Layla is a little shy at first and takes her time warming up to new people. But once she trusts you, her tail wags, her eyes sparkle, and she showers you with quiet, devoted affection. Her foster has proven that with a little patience and love, Layla will absolutely learn to trust and adore her humans. She's a gentle soul, the kind of dog who will curl up next to you, soak up pets, and quietly remind you that love doesn't always need words.
Ideal Home
Layla needs a home where she can decompress, feel safe, and let her personality shine at her own pace. She would do best with older children around 8 and up due to her sensitivity to new people and touch. She is happy to coexist peacefully with cats, giving them their space.

Transporation
Layla is located in Texas. Transport is available nationwide through our rescue run USDA certified transport system. Drop off locations include WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI, and Canada. For Canadian adopters, pick-up locations are in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY, or Brattleboro, VT. A surcharge of $87 applies due to rising transportation costs. Texas adopters must pick up from the Houston area.
