This sweet girl is 16 months old and weighs around 40 lbs. She's a resilient soul who was saved from a high-kill shelter and is now ready to find her loving forever home. When Rye Rye first arrived in foster care, she was understandably fearful of people, always on guard. Thankfully, she found solace in the company of other dogs, who have helped her slowly learn that not everyone is scary. Rye Rye is a nervous girl who requires patience to build trust. She isn't one to rush into cuddles but prefers to offer affection on her own terms. Once she feels safe, she forms a quiet, loyal bond that is truly special. She walks well on a leash and has so much love to give to the right person.

Ideal Home

Rye Rye would thrive in a home with at least one other friendly dog to show her the ropes. She can also do well with children who understand the importance of giving her space and allowing her to set the pace.
