Murphy is a 4-year-old, 85-pound Long-Haired German Shepherd with a heart as big as he is! He was rescued after being found severely underweight and alone on the streets. Now, he's healthy, happy, and ready to find his loving forever home. Murphy is incredibly smart, affectionate, loyal, and eager to please. He's surprisingly calm for a shepherd, loves to play, and also enjoys relaxing with his favorite people. He has excellent manners around food and learns new things with amazing speed.

Ideal Home

Murphy is a gentle giant who needs a home that is comfortable handling a large, powerful breed. He's friendly with other dogs and would likely enjoy canine companionship. However, due to a strong prey drive, he cannot live with cats or other small animals.

Ongoing Health

Murphy is healthy and ready for his new life!

Training & Support

While Murphy has excellent manners around food and is eager to learn, he still needs some leash training. With his intelligence and willingness, he'll make an amazing companion with a little guidance.
