Sissy is a sweet 12-year-old Shih Tzu with a heart of gold, weighing just over 15 pounds. She found herself in rescue due to circumstances beyond her previous owner's control and has since experienced the joy of a loving home before sadly needing to find a new family again. Her journey has led her to seek a comfortable retirement home where she can spend her golden years being cherished. Sissy is housetrained and enjoys leisurely strolls in a fenced backyard, taking in all the fascinating outdoor scents, or simply basking in the warm sunshine. She's also a good companion to other dogs and is generally quiet, though she might let out a bark or two if her mealtime is delayed.

Ongoing Health
Sissy is a trooper! She has been treated for bladder stones and is currently on a special prescription diet as a preventative measure. She also had a dental procedure where a few teeth were removed, so she enjoys her kibble softened with water. She is spayed, up-to-date on all her vaccinations (rabies, distemper, and kennel cough), vet-checked, and heartworm negative, currently on preventative.
Training & Support
Sissy is housetrained. While usually quiet, she can be a little vocal when she feels her mealtime is running late. She eats moistened kibble due to her dental work.
