Meet Goose!

This handsome boy is looking for a new forever home! He is truly a big baby that loves attention! Goose is estimated to be about 4 years old. His adoption fee has been sponsored, meaning there is no cost to adopt him!

Goose is part of a hoarding case we recently took on where there were about 30 Husky mixes living in one home. When we arrived at the house to remove the dogs, there was a TV playing the opening theme song/menu of the movie “Top Gun” on repeat, hence Goose’s name! These pups are not your typical “hoarding” case dogs as they are all very sweet, well-mannered, and well-behaved. They are crate trained, know some basic commands, and understand the concept of potty training, although we never guarantee that a pup will not have accidents going into a new environment.

Ideal Home

Goose is skittish and would do best in a home with older children (10+). He is good with other dogs but is not believed to be good with cats and would likely chase them. A securely fenced-in yard is recommended for him as he is not yet very comfortable on a leash.

Ongoing Health

Goose is fixed, fully vaccinated, dewormed, microchipped, and heartworm negative. He has also started on preventatives.

Training & Support

Goose can be skittish at times. He is not yet very comfortable on leash.
