Taco

Meet Taco! This charming 6.5-pound senior Chihuahua may be small in stature, but his heart is enormous! Taco has a sweet personality and loves to share puppy kisses, though he's definitely a distinguished gentleman now. He tends to put on a brave "guard dog" act when he sees people through the fence, but once he meets them, his tail wags non-stop, revealing his true, affectionate nature. Taco was surrendered to us after his beloved owner passed away, and he's hoping to find a warm lap to curl up on and plenty of companionship. He gets along wonderfully with other dogs and cats, showing a gentle and social disposition. Taco would be especially thrilled to find a forever home with his brother, Budda, for a heartwarming duo!

Ideal Home

Taco would be happiest in a home where he can be cuddled and showered with affection. Due to his small size, very young children are not recommended, as he could be easily injured. Older children who are familiar with small dogs would be a great fit.

Ongoing Health

Taco has been neutered, is up to date on vaccinations, is heartworm negative, and is current on monthly prevention. He is also microchipped with lifetime registration.

Training & Support

No specific training needs were mentioned, but Taco is sure to be a quick learner for his new family who will provide him with love and patience.
