Ginger Dominique is a 'lil girly girl with a gentle soul and so much love to give. This petite sweet may be a little shy when you first meet her, but give her a little time and patience, and you’ll see her blossom right before your eyes.
Once she feels safe, Ginger becomes incredibly affectionate—she truly loves her person and will happily curl up beside you for snuggles and quiet companionship. She’s the kind of dog who forms a deep bond and just wants to be near you.
Ginger Dominique is still learning what it means to be a dog. Toys are a brand-new concept to her, and she’s just beginning to figure out how to walk on a leash. With a loving home and gentle guidance, she’s sure to gain confidence and discover how fun life can be.
The good news? She’s already dog-friendly and cat-friendly, making her a wonderful addition to a home with other pets.

*We coordinate with multiple transport services that operate weekly to Eastern states and bi-weekly or monthly to Western states from Texas to your state or a neighboring state. These are ground transports using third party vehicles (vans/buses) converted for dog transport. Each adopter has the ability to track the van using the app Life360, and receives updates from transport along the way. Facebook chats are another resource to stay informed on tracking dogs on transport. Please be able to use one of these available services if you wish to follow your adopted dog on transport.
*Our adoption fees are based on the vetting we put into each dog. Fees for puppies (under 12 months) are higher because they require more vetting than dogs over 1 year.
*Listed breed is based on a best guess estimation by rescue and veterinary staff; DNA tests are not included in adoption.
*Our adopters are eligible to receive 50% off training with Curbed Behaviors Dog Training for programs booked within 30 days of adoption, and 25% off programs booked within 60-90 days of adoption.
*All of our adopters are invited to join our “Alum Pupdates” Facebook group, to share their story and their adorable pup with fellow Sunnyside Street Dogs adopters!
