Leela Lou Lovey is the perfect blend of sweet and spicy, and to top it all off, she's absolutely adorable! Her confidence in meeting new people, her constant happiness, and her incredible satellite ears are what we love most about her. She'll steal your heart in an instant and fill your life with endless joy and laughter. Leela is believed to be a pit bull/lab mix, approximately 3 years old, and weighs 55 lbs. She loves people so much that the word "stranger" doesn't exist in her vocabulary. She greets everyone with kisses and is the happiest little butterball, especially if you love to host and have friends over – Leela is your perfect party dog! She's a natural at making guests feel welcome and adding to the fun without being overwhelming. She knows when to socialize and when to relax, happily snuggling up with guests or entertaining herself with her favorite stuffed toys.
Ideal Home
Leela would be a great dog to take on hikes, beach trips, or to outdoor restaurants. She walks well on a leash and would do best in a home with a backyard for zoomies and playtime. While she's dog-friendly and great with other dogs in public, Leela would be happiest as the one and only fur baby in the home, soaking up all the love and companionship.

Leela is a rescue dog, and as with any rescue, her breed and age cannot be guaranteed.
Training & Support
Leela is crate trained, potty trained, and knows some basic commands like "sit." She loves treats and is eager to please, so any future training will be easy and enjoyable.

Transporation
We facilitate adoptions nationwide using our USDA certified transport system. Drop-off locations include WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI, and Canada. You can track your pet's journey in real-time and receive photo updates. There is an $87 surcharge for transport due to rising costs.
