Jacque the silly guy

Jacque is a playful, sweet, curious, and cuddly 7-month-old pup who weighs approximately 46 pounds. We believe he might be a Lab and German Shepherd mix, but in rescue, it's always a fun guess! Jacque's days are filled with a delightful cycle of eating, sleeping, and playing, much like any happy puppy. He has a wonderful personality and we're happy to share behavioral insights to help ensure he's the perfect fit for your family. Ideal Home

Jacque will thrive in a home that is committed to providing him with the necessary training, socialization, and dedication that puppyhood requires.

Ongoing Health

Jacque is up-to-date on all vetting, which includes DAPP with a booster, Bordetella, Rabies vaccine, multiple broad-spectrum deworming treatments, and he has been spayed/neutered. He is also current on flea and heartworm prevention, and he received a heartworm test and injectable preventative. A health certificate deeming him healthy for travel is also included.

Training & Support

As Jacque is still very young, his new family must be prepared to commit to his training and socialization. Implementing a consistent routine, structure, and setting clear boundaries from the start are crucial for his development. We require all adoptive families to begin crate training immediately upon arrival, which will aid in potty training, managing his energy, and fostering the growth of a well-rounded adult dog.

Transportation

Jacque is currently located in the Houston area. We facilitate nationwide adoptions using our rescue-run USDA-certified transport system. Our transport includes drop-off locations in WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI, and Canada (pick-up locations for Canadian adopters are in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY, or Brattleboro, VT). You will have the opportunity to track his journey in real-time with photo updates and can connect with fellow adopters through a private Facebook event page. There is an $87 surcharge for transportation.
