Meet Violet!

Violet is a 1.5-year-old sweetheart who was found roaming the streets of Houston, TX. Despite a tough start, she's emerged as the most loyal and loving dog you could ask for. She's fully potty trained, walks beautifully on a leash, and is good with dogs of all sizes, often gaining confidence from her canine companions. While kid-friendly, she can be a little scared of loud little ones. Violet knows "sit" and is making great progress with place and crate training. She's a world-class cuddler who will army crawl across any surface to get to you, her tongue always out in a happy grin. She's loyal to the core, but terrified of squeaky toys. When she's not cuddling, you can find her obsessing over the hose and playing tug. Violet has survived so much and still chooses to trust people. She has been shining at adoption events, meeting all kinds of people and dogs, and is ready to choose her forever family.

Ideal Home

Violet would thrive in a home with an adopter willing to continue her training to build her confidence. A doggy friend would be a wonderful addition to her new family, as she gains confidence from other dogs.

Ongoing Health

Violet is spayed, vaccinated, and has no known ongoing health concerns.

Training & Support

Violet is potty trained and walks well on a leash. She knows "sit" and is working on place and crate training. She's a little scared of loud children and squeaky toys. Continued training to build her confidence is recommended.
