Lucrecia is a sweet, playful, and active 3-year-old Rhodesian Ridgeback mix who weighs about 33 lbs and is 22 inches tall. She was found as a stray in Saltillo, Mexico, and was initially very distrustful. Thankfully, she has since gained trust and is now a loving and affectionate companion. Lucrecia also had an injured front paw that has been successfully treated. She enjoys playing with her foster siblings and is excited to find a home where she feels safe and loved.
Ideal Home
Lucrecia would thrive in a home with owners who have a fenced backyard and enjoy outdoor activities. Families with experience with the Rhodesian Ridgeback breed, an understanding of the needs of rescued animals, and a background in dog behavior and training would be a great fit. She requires patience and tolerance from her adopters as she continues to adjust and learn.
Ongoing Health
Lucrecia is spayed and up-to-date on vaccinations, including DHPPI, Rabies, and Bordetella. She has been dewormed, tested negative for heartworm, and receives monthly Nexgard Spectra for flea, tick, and heartworm prevention. She is healthy and has a health certificate and vaccination booklet.
Training & Support
Lucrecia is not house-trained, and adopters should be prepared to work on this. It's important to understand that she, like many rescued animals, needs consistent reinforcement and patience as she learns new routines and behaviors.

Transportation
Lucrecia is currently in foster care in Saltillo, Mexico, and is ready to travel to the East Coast as part of a cross-country trip if adopted. Transport is available to the adopter's home address for a fee of $400.00, which is payable by the adopter prior to the pet's departure.
