Wendy

Wendy, a senior female American Staffordshire Terrier mix, is a smart and active girl who knows "sit," "down," "paw," and "come." She enjoys a good game of fetch and long walks. Bath time is a special treat for Wendy as she loves water and the extra attention she receives, even being carried like a baby! While not a strict requirement, a fenced-in yard would be a wonderful bonus for this energetic pup. Wendy is looking for an active person to share her life with, but most importantly, she wants to be loved. She has shown improvement in playgroups with some dogs, proving she can get along with others, though she may not be friends with every single dog. If you have a resident dog, a meet-and-greet is highly recommended.

Wendy would thrive in an active home. A fenced-in yard is a plus.

Ongoing Health

Wendy has some special needs. Save-A-Pet will continue to coordinate and pay for the vet care related to her condition.

Training & Support

Wendy can get a little excited when preparing for outings but calms down once her harness is on. She is house-trained, but may need continued guidance.
