Meet Alabama! This sweet 4-year-old Mini Goldendoodle is a bundle of gentle energy with a curious spirit. Alabama walks beautifully on a leash and loves to explore, making her the perfect companion for leisurely strolls and outdoor adventures. She’s a quiet girl who has only barked a few times since arriving in our care. Alabama gets along well with other dogs and could be happy as the sole canine in her new home or sharing her space with a canine sibling. She would do best in a home with older children who understand and respect her more timid nature. Because Alabama is an opportunist and might dart out an open door, her forever family will need to be mindful of this, especially during her adjustment period.

Ideal Home

Alabama would thrive in a home with a securely fenced yard where she can safely explore her surroundings. She would do best with older children who can respect her gentle and somewhat timid personality. Her new family will need to be prepared to gate doors, especially during the adjustment period.

Ongoing Health

Alabama is spayed, up-to-date on core vaccines, and is on heartworm, flea, and tick prevention.

Training & Support

Alabama is still learning that the world is a safe place and can be quite fearful at times. She will need a patient family willing to give her the time, understanding, and encouragement she needs to continue building confidence. She is making progress with house training and does go outside regularly to potty, but she is not yet fully housebroken. Alabama does not enjoy being crated and would do best with a family that can work with her using positive reinforcement and consistency.
