Max is a 10-month-old Vizsla Lab mix weighing about 37 lbs. He's a happy, affectionate, and wonderfully goofy boy who loves people and gets along with other dogs. Max is like a built-in best friend, always happy to be by your side. He enjoys playing fetch and tug-of-war and has been a gentle playmate for kids in his foster home. He's polite and easygoing with other dogs, whether they are small or large, and would do well with a calm, playful companion. Max is doing well with potty and crate training, sleeps through the night, and is eager to please. He's smart and curious, and with a little consistency, his leash walking skills will continue to improve.
Ideal Home
Max would love a home that is ready for a growing puppy who thrives on connection. A yard would be a nice bonus, but what matters most to him is having people to follow, play with, and love. He will do best with daily activity, a bit of structure, and someone who enjoys the process of watching a good dog grow into a great one.
Ongoing Health
Max is up-to-date on all vaccinations and has been given broad spectrum deworming treatments. He is microchipped and has been given flea and heartworm preventatives.
Training & Support
Max is still learning, and while he's doing well with potty and crate training, leash walking is still a work in progress. He responds best to gentle, positive guidance. Like any young dog, he may have moments of distraction or zoomies, but these are normal for his age and enthusiasm.

Max is currently fostered in Renton, WA and is available for local meet and greets. We facilitate adoptions nationwide using our rescue run USDA certified transport system. Our transport includes drop off locations in WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI and Canada.
