TRUMAN

Truman may be the size of a small horse, but don’t let that be the reason you move to the next kennel. Just look deep into those puppy dog eyes because he wants to show you how gentle he is. He's a big boy with an even bigger gentle touch and loves to stay near his person, making him a true "Velcro dog." He enjoys going between legs for butt scratches and is treat-motivated, often sitting for a reward. Truman is also a big-time trail sniffer and a good boy for his bath.

Ideal Home

Truman is dog-friendly, but plays best with large dogs as he doesn’t always know his size and strength. He is cat-curious but doesn’t chase.

Truman is neutered.

Training & Support

Truman is potty trained and knows "sit." He is pretty good on leash and easy to handle. He can be a little hesitant to get into the car, but is generally pretty good once inside. He is very treat-motivated and loves enrichment toys. He is described as "people selective," so a patient and understanding home will be key.
