Brooklyn

Brooklyn is a very special girl who has come a long way and is now ready to find her forever home. She spent six long years at the shelter, but her big googly eyes and resilient spirit convinced us to give her a chance. Despite her tough exterior, Brooklyn has shown incredible growth and potential. She is a 7-8 year old, 35 lb Staffordshire terrier mix.

Brooklyn had a rough start, but she has blossomed into a loving and loyal companion. She is calm, house-trained, and walks well on a leash. She loves to be a shadow, following you around the house, and is a perfect lap dog when it's time to relax. Brooklyn is also amazing at bath time! She gets excited and playful, especially with women. Her favorite treats include peanut butter, Greek yogurt, pig snouts, and collard greens. When she's not enjoying a treat, she loves getting pets, napping, and playing with toys.

Ideal Home

Brooklyn would thrive in a home where she can be the only pet. She needs a patient adopter who can give her a calm environment and someone who understands her past and is willing to give the time and space for her to feel safe.
