Sweet, silly Lucy is equal parts playful pup and professional sunbather! Lucy is a beautiful Hound/Pointer/Cattle Dog mix born in December 2024 and weighing about 40 pounds. She is a loving, playful girl who enjoys chewing on bones and squeaky toys, playing with ropes and stuffed animals, and then curling up for cuddles or relaxing in the sun. Lucy has a great balance of energy, happy to play and go for walks, but also perfectly content to lounge and relax with her people. She does great with other dogs and regularly attends daycare, where she enjoys playing and socializing. Lucy is fully potty trained and crate trained, settles easily in her crate, and walks fairly well on leash with occasional reminders. She is smart and capable of learning quickly with consistency and patience. Lucy can be reserved with new people and may need a little time to warm up, but once she builds trust, she is incredibly affectionate, playful, and loyal. She is looking for a home that will give her the time and leadership she needs to feel secure and confident. In return, she will be an incredibly devoted companion.
Ideal Home
Lucy would do best with an experienced dog owner who understands the importance of structure, patience, and clear boundaries. We recommend homes with children 10 years and over to ensure the best fit for both the pets and families involved.
